When it comes to food, I have a few fundamental ideas. Core principles, I guess you can call them. One goes like this: In order to eat healthy, you need to know what you are eating.
“Gee Chuck, you’re really breaking news here today aren’t you!”
“Hey Chuck, that idea of yours is about as new as the ‘wheel’. What’s next, are you going to invent sliced bread, tell us to keep food in a fridge, create the concept of exercise?”
Yeah, I hear you. Its not a new idea. But I thought we’d have some fun with the idea.
In the spirit of the season (that of both new school years and football seasons), your friends here at ChuckCotton.com have decided to roll out a new game. Its sure to be an internet sensation. The kids have decided to call it “Guess the Garbage.”
Pretty simple rules apply. Basically, we’ll post a picture of ingredients from the nutrition label of some food found in your local grocery store. Based on the ingredients, you guess what the food is.
You may ask, “why don’t you call it ‘Guess the Food?’” Well, we mean garbage in the nicest of ways, of course. Otherwise, we think real food is healthier food. The other stuff may taste good - maybe even great – but real food works better.
After each picture we’ll provide a link to the answer. Feel free to keep score at home.
